Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer
Job Description & Responsibilities:
We are looking to hire a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to assist our client with computer hardware and software issues. You will be required to work on-site and assist with hardware installations, systems integrations, software upgrades and basic IT related issues.
- Responding to client support requests.
- Troubleshooting hardware and Software issues.
- Installing and maintaining hardware and computer peripherals.
- Installing and upgrading operating Systems and computer software.
- Troubleshooting networking and connection issues.
- Completing job reports.
- Willing to travel to the Client’s location.
- Candidate must have own transport to commute to work.
Skills and Knowledge:
- 6 Months to 3 Years of experience as Desktop Support Engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Knowledge of Computer hardware systems, chipsets, memory modules, and peripherals.
- Knowledge of operating systems (windows 10, Linux operating system), Software applications, and remote connection systems.
- Knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Office, O-365, Antivirus Management, Printer Configuration, L1 Network Support.
- Ability to solve complex hardware and software issues.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
